Collaboration between trikoton & the movie “Jonas”

Combining fashion and music is not enough for us! We are always trying to cross boundaries between the Arts. And this time we are heading in the direction of cinema again.

After having sponsored the International Forum of New Cinema at the Berlinale last year, we are now collaborating with the movie “Jonas: Stell dir vor, es ist Schule und du musst wieder hin!”

We produced a scarf translating the frequences, modulations and volume of the song “Schule ist nicht schön” by the famous german artist Helge Schneider, which he specially composed for the movie.

The movie is about a 18 years old repeater boy named Jonas. A school offers him a very last chance to graduate. The movie was shot in 6 weeks in a real school with real teachers and pupils… and the renowned actor Christian Ulmen (who is wearing the trikoton scarf on the picture) as Jonas!

New exhibition coming soon at the Showroom

After the great success of the opening party of our showroom “Staub Shop” in the Manteuffelstrasse 48, we planned to regularly organize events there, so that the showroom becomes a meeting point, a place to see innovative design, talk, exchange and party!

The next serie of events “Staub Gold” will take place in December and Januray. As a highlight we are curating a Design exhibition on the theme of…Gold! The opening will take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd December. It will shine all around!

And we are throwing a party right before Christmas, the very last one for 2011, on the 16th of December.
You and your friends are welcome. Spread the message!

Trikoton is back!!!
You have missed our Fashion Week Party and can’t wait to see our T-shirts for real? You were there at our Fashion Week Party and can’t wait to touch their very soft organic Cotton again? You missed us?

It will be for us the occasion to organize a big SUMMER SALE, dont miss it!

The Voodoo markets started in 2010, bringing all together 30 designers and creative people. After 3 editions The Voodoo Market is getting bigger and its summer edition is going to take place outside with more participants, more activities and more voodoo. The Voodoo Market is beeing organized by Maria Ziemann and Oryanne Dufour. Maria is running the blog Strytllng and is a vintage lover. Oryanne is part of the CFT (Collectif France Tricot) and in charge of the StrickenBar . Street knitting is her thing and she just loves trikoton!

Jacki is a bar/club alongside the Spree river, which is proposing music, performances and a wild bunch of unusual and surprising events.

These are the first pictures of the T-shirts born from our collaboration with the band Bodi Bill, taken in the Showroom we had for the Berlin Fashion Week! We are organizing a Photoshooting next week, and will post the new pictures as soon as we get them. There are 2 different designs, either it’s for Men or for Women. Both are available in sizes S, M, L.

1st T-Shirts collection + Party for the Berlin Fashion Week!

So far concentrated on knitted fashion, Trikoton is going to present its very first T-Shirts collection during the Berlin Fashion Week!
This collection arose from a collaboration with the band Bodi Bill, who did not only provide the music to visualize but also actively took part in the design of it.
The printing of T-shirts enables Trikoton to explore infinite new innovative ways of converting sounds into patterns. You’ll be surprised!

Trikoton is participating from the 23rd till the 26th June in the Festival Futur en Seine in Paris at the Village des Innovations.
This Festival is dedicated to digital Arts with exhibitions, performances, concerts and business conventions, and the Village presents innovative and creative industries from all over the world.
It was the occasion for trikoton to get a first feed-back from the parisian public, and it has been so far even better than expected!

Trikoton T-Shirts @ w?atf (what about the future?) in Vienna

Trikoton is working on a T-shirts collection, so that you can wear trikoton all year long, even by 30°C! The 1st T-Shirts line has been created in cooperation with the band Bodibill. Not only did they let us convert one of their songs into visuals, but they actively participated in the design of he visuals. Printing on T-shirts opens for trikoton new possibilities of esthetic explorations of sound visualizations.

The T-shirts are first going to be presented during the Berlin Fashion Week and then on the 16th of July in the w?atf (what about the future?) Pop-Up Store.

w?atf will take place from the 28th of June till the 30th of July in the Galerie “Sonnensegel” and will present Fashion, accessoires, music, magazines, books and design. On Thursdays till Sundays, there will be presentations, performances, release partys, samples sales, DJ sessions und live acts.

The presentation of the T-shirts in Vienna will lead to a Berliner evening in w?atf with Trikoton products, Bodibill, Sinnbus und DJ TOP JUNGS!

Trikoton at Congress “Junge IKT-Wirtschaft: Gründen – Wachsen – Investieren”

Trikoton participated once again in the “Junge IKT-Wirtschaft: Gründen – Wachsen – Investieren” (Young ICT-economies: founding – expanding – investing”) in Berlin this year. More than 400 participants have the opportunity to exchange about their experiences and initiate new business obligations during workshops, on the exhibition and at the Investition Forum.
It was the occasion for trikoton to build new interessant contacts. We are looking forward to new development opportunities!
